Maryam Hamidi, MPT, ATRI spent years treating orthopedic patients at Hoag Hospital and in home health before opening Empower Physical Therapy & Aquatics Institute. Physical Therapy was never just a job. It was, in her words, a natural career choice, a way to help patients get back to the highest possible level of activity and quality of life.
Empower is family-owned and operated. Maryam runs the clinic alongside her husband Bobby, and that shows up in how the practice is built: patients get to know their therapist personally, not just a rotation of whoever is available that day.
